How is age calculated when a birthday hasn't occurred yet this year?

The calculator subtracts one from the year difference and calculates remaining months and days since the last birthday. So on January 1, 2025, someone born March 15, 1990 is still 34, not 35.

Does the calculator handle leap year birthdays (Feb 29)?

Yes. People born on February 29 are treated as turning a year older on March 1 in non-leap years.

What is chronological vs biological age?

Chronological age is time elapsed since birth. Biological age reflects how your body has actually aged based on health markers. This calculator measures chronological age only.
